Signs of Gratitude

Everyday I have so much to be thankful for... today is the day Signs of Angels makes her first charitable contribution. My parents are both with me in spirit now. I am so thankful for all the patience, encouragement, love and generosity they gave me. I am truly blessed with a fabulous legacy. Signs of Angels is initially being financed by the inheritance from their estate. To celebrate the love of my parents and the start our company, Signs of Angels is donating 10% of the first bank deposit to St. Thomas Lutheran Church in Brick, NJ.

St. Thomas has been part of most of my fondest memories. As child I was in the cherub choirs, and eventually the "Twelfth Commandment"... and cut an album. Confirmation, wedding, baptisms, and confirmations for my children. My parents, Jon & Chris Klotz, were active members of the church, and it is a perfect donation beneficiary for Signs of Angels.

I believe you need to have gratitude for the blessings in your life. Starting a new business is so exciting. I want to share it with everyone. And one day, I will. Now, I want to say thank you to God for my parents, St. Thomas and Signs of Angels.

Angel business start-up thoughts... phew!

Working on the new business, Signs of Angels, inc. There is so much involved.. if I had looked far into the future, I might have chickened out. It is fun... I love to learn, and I learn everyday now. Today my new favorite book is QuickBooks 2009. Ready to set up the books, and make the accountant happy. Next I will learn how to make OScommerce work ... ahhh... my right brain and left brain working at the same time.. doesn't happen often ... actually prefer the right brain stuff... which means I need to find the joy in the left brain stuff... go figure! I am looking forward to the post saying... Come check out SignsofAngels.com ... it is great!

Do you believe in Angels?

Feathers... feathers are the signs Angels leave for me.

November 2008, I was just going into a store and my husband called. With disappointment, I told him I hadn't signed the papers to start my new business. I had to wait until the beginning of 2009 to avoid a $500 NJ tax fee. With tears in my eyes, I listened to him tell me it was fine and happened for a reason.

As I listened, I noticed a white feather floating right in front of me. I asked him to hold on while a ran a caught it. Back on the curb, I shared with him my gift. Before he could respond, another one fell in front of me. I ran for that one too! Finally another, within seconds a third came floating down.

I looked up and realized there were birds regularly sit on the store front. I didn't see any, and I looked to see if there where any feathers other than right in front of me. Nope. My Angels gave me a message. What a comfort it was... I still have two of my feathers, I gave one as gift. Treasures are meant to be shared.

Have you had similar experiences? I would love to read them.
